Hypnosis
The
word hypnosis is derived from the Greek word “hypnos” meaning “sleep”.
Hypnosis has played an important role in healing, for thousands of years, in
ancient cultures. Therapeutically, it has been used for treating not only
physical, but also psychological disorders.
Hypnosis is a state of consciousness where mind and body are in deep and
peaceful relaxation, allowing at the same time, our subconscious mind to be
alert and receptive to acceptable suggestions. The acceptance of these
suggestions, that must be in accordance with our belief system, will cause
behavioral changes and resolve emotional barriers in a relative short time,
which otherwise would take a long time, if at all.

Everybody
can be hypnotized if they want to and are not afraid. It is not dangerous, since
it is only a state of relaxation from which anyone, without exception, can emerge.
